Local Bounti
Indoor agriculture company Local Bounti has expanded its Grab & Go Salad Kit line to include antibiotic-free white meat chicken in two new recipes, Artisanal Chicken Caesar and Memphis Style BBQ Chicken. The former packs 19 grams of protein and features greenhouse-grown romaine, parmesan cheese, croutons and the brand's Romano Ceasar dressing. The latter has 15 grams of protein and is crafted with corn and black bean salsa, pickled red onions, crispy fried onions, pepper jack cheese and BBQ ranch dressing. Local Bounti's new salad kits will be available at select grocery stores in the Pacific Northwest starting this month.
Hope Foods
Hope Foods has unveiled a fresh new look for its portfolio of organic hummus and plant-based dips. According to the brand, the new packaging "reflects the company's vibrant flavor" and highlights its Plastic Neutral certification. Additionally, beginning this month, all Hope Foods organic hummus products will contain organic flaxseed oil to enhance their functional benefits.
Blender Bites
Pre-portioned functional food brand Blender Bites has announced its newest innovation, 1-Step Frappé. Available in three flavors at launch – Vanilla Bean Bio, Caramel Collagen and Mindful Mocha – each serving boasts 90mg of caffeine and contains 50% less sugar and 38% fewer calories and carbs than conventional blended iced coffee drinks, the brand claims. The cubes are designed to be blended with milk or milk alternative until smooth. Blender Bites 1-Step Frappé products will soon be available at select retailers.
Brianna's
Just in time for grilling season, Brianna's has dropped a new line of marinades in Sriracha Honey Ginger, Roasted Garlic and Herb, Classic Steak, Smoked Chipotle and Lime and Citrus Mediterranean varieties. Like the rest of the brand's portfolio, the new offerings are gluten-free and contain no artificial flavors. The marinades are available via the brand's website for $30 per single-flavor 6-pack of 12 oz. bottles.
Rao's
In conjunction with its Chicago pop-up event, Rao's has announced the launch of two new pasta sauces, Caramelized Onion and Vodka Arriabatta, one new pizza sauce, Pizza Arriabatta, and two new soups, Italian-Style Lentil and Butternut Squash. At the pop-up event on June 9, New York Times bestselling cookbook author Kristin Cavallari will share her favorite recipe using the new Caramelized Onion sauce. All five new SKUs are slated to roll out into major retailers this summer.
Three Wishes
Better-for-you cereal brand has taken inspiration from a classic fireside treat to create its newest flavor, S’mores. The new offering combines the brand's flagship crunchy Os with marshmallow and chocolate flavors. Each serving packs 8 grams of protein and has just 3 grams of sugar. Three Wishes S’mores is available on Amazon for $26.99 per 3-pack of 8.6 oz. boxes.
